Resource Access Program

Are you or someone you know suffering from the impacts of drugs and/or alcohol? Are you or someone you know experiencing a mental health crisis? Are you or someone you know overwhelmed caring for an aging or disabled family member? Are you or someone you know experiencing debilitating mobility issues? Are you or someone you know struggling to find even the most basic of necessities? Are you or someone you know up against a life challenge where the possibility of finding a solution seems hopeless? The North Mason Regional Fire Authority’s Resource Access Program (RAP) is here to help. NMRFA Emergency Prevention Specialist Abe Gardner will connect you to the critical resources and services available to you, right here in Mason County.

Abe will take the time needed to learn about the challenges being faced. He will work to develop a plan and make available the resources and services that are needed to navigate the situation. Abe can refer to local grief counseling groups, alcohol, substance use recovery, mental health support, home health care services, training programs, connection to housing resources, meal, and transportation coordination, and home safety inspections. These are just a few ways the Resource Access Program (RAP) can help overcome life’s challenges. A quick phone call to Abe could be life-changing.
