North Mason Fire Authority along with our partners from the Mason County Sheriffs Office, MACECOM – 911, PUD #3, Belfair Water District, Red Cross, Central Mason Fire & EMS and AmeriCorps over a two day period provided a fun and interactive day of learning to over 900 students at Sand Hill and Belfair Elementary. This annual event is the largest put on by the Authority and has been an annual tradition since 1998. The event used to be held in local area parks and in early 2000 the event was moved to the elementary schools. Captain Jeromy Hicks, organizer of the event added “This is s great way to bring multiple agencies together to provide safety and training in one arena allowing us to interact with students in our community.” Here are some photo highlights of the day
